For practicing Engineers and MSc and PhD graduates who have not already been obligated in Canada.
The next Camp 6 Iron Ring Ceremony for Practicing Engineers will be Thursday evening, November 2nd, 2023. Registration for November 2nd closes on October 6th at midnight. U of A Engineering students completing their degrees in the 2023-24 Fall & Winter Terms will be eligible to attend Camp 6 Iron Ring Ceremonies on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024. Guests may also attend. Camp 6 will provide eligible students details and registration information at ENGG400 and by email.

Practicing Engineers –
There are two types of Obligation Ceremonies in Camp 6: Graduating Student ceremonies and Practicing Engineer ceremonies. These ceremonies are organized and held separately, with different eligibility requirements and instructions for each.

For practicing Engineers and MSc and PhD graduates who have not already been obligated in Canada.
Students who are graduating with a B.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Alberta in the Fall or Winter terms.
Information for Special Presenters at both graduating student and Practicing Engineer ceremonies.
Information for guests who wish to attend a graduating student or practicing Engineer ceremony. Guests are currently allowed, but this may change due to room limits during the continuing pandemic.
